Fans of water sports and competitive vessels will not miss the big race of the year from Caen.
The nautical epic in the Channel and Celtic Sea.
The Normandy Channel Race has become a reference in France and internationally. This Class 40 yacht race offers a 1000 mile loop starting from the port of Caen-Ouistreham.
The skippers will then cross the English Channel, the Celtic Sea and through the French, British and Irish coasts. You can then follow the demanding and varied race live on the official competition website.
The city of Caen is also hosting the race village around the Saint-Pierre basin. This is an opportunity to get close to these jewels of the sea and to meet the skippers. Numerous events will be proposed throughout the fortnight.
