Already threatened by the measures taken during the Occupation, the statuary in the square suffered once again. Liberation marked the beginning of a temporary period. Then came the questioning surrounding the redevelopment of a relatively unscathed square.
As part of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Caen.
