Three-part staged reading, followed by a meeting with author Sylvain Levey.
His name is Albert. Like Albert Camus. Today is his birthday. His twelfth. Twelve years he's hated his first name. His little sister's name is Margueritte. Like Marguerite Yourcenar. He used to be nice, but since he became a prepubescent, he's never liked anyone except Jordan, his cousin. Jordan lives far away, not even in the city, and drinks whole milk straight from the farm. In the evenings, Jordan and Albert play network video games on the sly. The guests have arrived, not his guests, his parents' guests, not his party, theirs, not his cake, theirs. Personally, he would never have invited these people, nor decorated the living room with rainbow garlands, nor put a sugar-coated rainbow on the strawberry tart. He hates strawberries and he hates rainbows.
Albert?s alphabet, a slice of teenage life, to be enjoyed without missing a letter!
