The 2025 Tour de France will be stopping off in Caen for a legendary individual time trial on Wednesday 09 July.
The route
This is the 36th time that Caen has been a stage town for the Tour du France. In 2025, to mark the city’s Millennium, the 112th edition of the Tour will pass through the city of William the Conqueror.
The start will be given at the Tour Leroy, then the riders will head for the University, the Jardin des Plantes, the Colline aux Oiseaux and finally the Memorial, before crossing the neighbouring towns of Saint-Contest, Cambes-en-plaine, Colomby-Anguerny, Thaon, Cairon, Rosel and Gruchy.
The return to Caen will be via the north-west via the Chemin-Vert district, then Place du Canada, before passing in front of Caen’s majestic Town Hall. The finish will be in Place Foch, opposite the Prairie.
See you on 09 July in Caen!
