Still-lifes and landscapes painted with a knife, using colorful, clean, sometimes cubic strokes. For him, subject matter is of little importance: fruit bowls, vases, everyday objects and waterscapes are merely pretexts for a colorist's work, always at the service of emotion.
Chalk drawings of faces and nudes. The use of mixed techniques plays on the contrast between the effects of materials and the idealized beauty of the female face.
