The SI CINÉMA Festival aims to give an account of the new forms and writing through which contemporary cinema is invented. "Et si c?était du cinéma?"; "si, c?est du cinéma! SI CINÉMA puts cinema in the conditional and, at the same time, affirms it with the infinite and indefinite resources of art and design school graduates. In these schools, cinema is as much about experimental image and narrative practices, and the hybridization of forms, as it is about more academic approaches.
For the 6th edition of SI CINE'MA, 30 films (including three out-of-competition films) made between 2021 and 2024 by directors from 23 art and design colleges will be presented at the Café des images.
