As part of a theme week: Taberna project: visitors are invited to create a reproduction of a Roman-style street food counter, based on discoveries made at Pompeii. Various workshops will introduce visitors to frescoes, pottery and ancient cuisine...
Roman cooking workshop. An introduction to Roman cuisine, followed by the preparation of two recipes (Apicius flavored salt and filled dates).
10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., ages 5 and up, 7? per child and 10? per adult participant, museum admission for accompanying adult, booking essential.
