This guided walk will take you through the city, following in the footsteps of Caen?s ancient stone quarries. You'll learn about the quarrying techniques, its qualities and its complexity. You'll explore the city, discovering the main buildings constructed with this construction material: mansions from different eras, the ducal castle and one of the abbeys.
The tour is organized by Anne-Marie Isabet as part of Caen's Millennium History Week.
