Spectacle Guignol, le bâtard

Guignol is a major figure in French culture. He unites imaginations. He is a character who reacts to the world around him, is loyal to his friends and listens only to his common sense. A sort of lambda citizen, who would reveal himself in the face of injustice without the weapons of discourse or constructed thought, but with his stick and his cult of friendship.
He is perfectible, makes mistakes, takes blows and deals them. We want to create a family show that makes people laugh and talks politics, that questions our society, with the average Frenchman as its hero: Guignol. Guignol may be old-fashioned, but he's not a museum piece. He's alive. He lives and suffers in today?s world. His language may be old-fashioned, but the situations he faces will be contemporary, in touch with the immediate concerns of the audience.
Purchasing power, the housing crisis, feminicide, etc. Guignol, le bâtard is a castelet show for three actor-puppets. It consists of three interchangeable sketches, depending on the context, and two songs. The installation of the castelet and its construction are a preamble to the show.
