As everyone knows, the city of Caen paid a heavy price during the Liberation in 1944. The city was partially destroyed. The cultural history of the post-war period could have been impoverished and saddened... But, on the contrary, thanks to a few inspired, dynamic and convinced individuals, Art in Caen played a major role in the city's reconstruction and repair!
The idea of this workshop is to tell the story of this rebirth by evoking the emblematic figure of Jo Tréhard and all the public figures who also played a part.
