The Amazing Heritage: Step into Anna and Johanna’s lives at the Radar Station in 1944

3

New event for families as part of the Étonnants Patrimoines program.

The event is designed to be fun, experiential and sensory for the whole family, adults and children alike (recommended for ages 8 and up), enabling them to learn while having fun! What a program!

In detail:
On arrival, you'll be greeted by your hosts, Anna, Johanna and your guide, and we'll get to know our small tour group of no more than twenty people.

We'll follow a guided tour that includes a presentation of the "Distel?nk" radar station, its history and its role, all in an interactive version suitable for children and adults alike, leading up to the animation.

During this interactive animation, Anna and Johanna will explain their role and that of the women present on the station in 1944, and their daily lives. Then you'll be treated to a private headdress fitting, with handling of uniforms, equipment and transmission material, and, in a nod to their current profession, an introduction to the role of nurses and paramedics in the army.

The family experience concludes with a cooperative game between participants, with a reward depending on your answers!
All in all, an unforgettable visit!
