The Merville Battery was a major objective on D-Day for the Allied High Command. It was put out of action by the 9th British Parachute Battalion. The Merville Battery Association brings you an educational trail on a site covering several hectares with your chance to visit 5 bunker museums and a legendary plane involved in D-Day. Visitors to the last bunker get the full experience of the hellish bombings and Battery attack on June 6th 1944.
