Located within the walls of the Château de Caen, a thousand-year-old medieval fortress founded by William the Conqueror, the Museum of Normandy is a museum of history and society. Packed with significant archaeological and ethnographic collections, it offers to the chance to discover the life of people in Normandy, from Prehistory to the modern day. For groups, tours and activities are organised all year round within the museum, the exhibitions and the castle.
