The festival has established itself as the largest event dedicated to Nordic culture in Europe. Every year in November, it takes you on a journey through different territories. The five Scandinavian countries, the Baltic countries, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, all showcase their richness.
A festival dedicated to the Nordic countries, unique in Europe !
In addition to the literary pole accompanied by plays and reading scenes, the festival offers other forms of contemporary writing: dance, circus, performances, concerts, cinema and video, exhibitions, during a fortnight with numerous free events.
The festival brings many local actors along with it, so that you can feel somewhere else during the month of November. For example, Caen restaurants offer Nordic specialities on their menus. Art cinemas such as show films from the featured countries. All the festival’s cultural partners are turning Caen and Normandy into a real place of creation for artists from the North.
For the 2024 edition, the featured country will be Finland! The entire program will be available soon.
